Schedules
In Norway we compete with four different flight schedules,
with different complexity. These are :
- Vingtreff : Basic maneuovers meant to give inspiration to
practice and to gain general flight-discipline. These maneuvers can easily be flown
with any aileron equipped sports model. Vingtreff is intended for
club-events and for building of general aeromodelling skills.
- Sport : A new schedule more suited for competitions. This is
a schedule that will replace Vingtreff at Nationals and other major events
here in Norway.
- Nordic : An intermediate
schedule common for all Nordic countries. A full turn-around
schedule with maneuovers selected to prepare pilots for F3A.
The more complex and power-demanding maneuovers also calls
for a more advanced and better trimmed model. New schedule to be used
from Jan 1. 2008.
- F3A : The most complex schedules
of the three used. Very demanding both for pilots and
their equipment. These schedules are used world-wide,
including for continental and world championships.
The scedules to be used from January 1. 2008 until 2011 are official,
from the minutes from the meetings :
